Solgar Phytosterol Complex

Phytosterols are plant-derived compounds similar in structure to cholesterol. Some of these compounds, including beta-sitosterol, have been clinically documented to support cardiovascular health and to promote healthy cholesterol levels already within normal range. The premium plant sterol esters contained in Phytosterol Complex may reduce the risk of heart disease.

A serving of Phytosterol Complex supplies 0.9 grams (900 mg), of vegetable oil sterol esters. Foods and supplements containing at least 650 mg per serving of plant sterol esters, eaten twice a day with meals for a daily total intake of at least 1300 mg, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease through the intermediate link of blood total and LDL cholesterol.

Recommended Dosage: two (2) soft gels twice daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
